Privacy

Kindred is designed to provide a private relationship-reflection experience without requiring an account. This page explains what the current service uses and why.

Information Kindred uses

Kindred stores the answers you provide, questionnaire progress, presentation preferences, calculated relationship scores and the report connected to your session. You do not need to provide a name or create an account to use the assessment.

How your session works

A random first-party identifier is stored in an HttpOnly browser cookie so the service can retrieve your progress and result. The cookie is configured to expire after 90 days. It is not a public profile and is not intended to identify you by name.

How reports are produced

Your answers are scored by Kindred before the written report is produced. The report-writing service receives calculated profile information rather than your raw questionnaire answers. Report output is validated and stored with the result so it does not need to be generated on every visit.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Kindred stores payment references, status, amount and currency so access can be confirmed, but does not receive or store your complete card details. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy terms.

Product analytics

Kindred may record limited product events such as beginning or completing the questionnaire and opening a result. These events are designed not to contain your individual questionnaire answers. They are used to understand whether the experience works and where people encounter problems.

Retention and control

Assessment and payment records may be retained for operating the service, restoring paid access, preventing abuse and meeting legal or accounting obligations. Clearing your browser cookie removes the browser’s link to an anonymous result but does not by itself delete server records.

This notice may be updated when providers or product behavior change. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date.
